Dueodde Familiecamping & Hostel

The campsite is located right next to Bornholm’s most famous beach, which has been nominated several times as one of the best beaches in Denmark.

There is direct access to the beach from the campsite.
At Dueodde Family Camping and Hostel there is room for the whole family with lots of wonderful and cozy fun holiday experiences.

The campsite has been owned by the same family for more than 30 years, of which the daughter Karina Rosager has run it for the past 20 years.
The site is one of the most visited campsites on Bornholm. Many schoolchildren come here every year for camp school. In addition, the area is a popular tourist destination with a short distance to towns such as Nexø, Svaneke, Gudhjem, Sandvig, Hasle and Rønne. The location means that many people visit the site by bicycle. In addition, an increasing number of campers visit the campsite every year.

A trip up Dueodde Lighthouse will take the breath away from most boats, due to the many stairs, but the reward awaits with a panoramic view of the southern part of Bornholm and the beautiful coastline.

The campsite is approved for 180 units. All with 10-16 amp. power supply.
The campsite is open to guests from the beginning of May to the end of September.

A modern café, beautifully decorated with dining areas and a cozy terrace covered with large market parasols, which has just been updated beautifully with wooden panels.

Café counters and furniture in stainless steel are built for self-service, so it requires a minimum of staff when, among other things, school meals are served.
In addition, there is a large production kitchen with all the equipment of ovens, stoves and dishes.

The kiosk appears in a clean and rigorous good style with a wide range. In addition, a cold room is located behind the store with product replenishment towards the store. Next to the cold room is a large storage freezer.
Compusoft is used for booking and online, version 2.
All cash terminals are new and meet the latest requirements from SKAT.
The swimming pool house and pool were built in 1999 and appear beautiful and inviting. A very big asset for the guests.

Here there is the possibility of changing clothes and entrance with card reader and Pinpad via carousel.
TV rooms and a living room are located in the attic of the pool building, with new lounge furniture.
In the same attic there is an apartment, with kitchen, bathroom and toilet. The home is approx. 100 m2. With the possibility of overnight accommodation.
Over the years, most roofs have been replaced, only a single wooden building is missing. It has new windows in 2025.
The hostel appears presentable, painted with new windows and doors, which are replaced continuously. Tiles in all outdoor areas have just been cleaned and sanded.

The hostel has continuously replaced toilets and sinks in some of the rooms, as well as new flooring in the living rooms.

4 x 6 bed rooms with bathroom and toilet
12 x 5 bed rooms with bathroom and toilet
5 x 4 bed rooms with bathroom and toilet
7 x 2 bed rooms, all with bathroom and toilet

Old oil boiler is located in a large tidy boiler room so it was easy to get to. This is supported by solar cells on the roof. Another oil boiler has just had its burner replaced.
An older building can be used for activities and storage.
An older black wooden building with 6 rooms, not used for rental, but for living space for staff. New windows.
Reception is located at the entrance to the campsite where guests are welcomed.
